Founder Christian Staples talks about how we got started.
The mission of Arctic Spas is to help people and families in Utah make memories at home with their own spa.
As a teenager, our founder Christian, had a natural talent for fixing hot tubs, as well as what felt like an impossible and unusual calling: he wanted to provide Utahans who often talked about relaxing with family in their own spa someday, to experience a better way of buying spas- spas that they could count on to stand up to Utah’s harsh climates. This led him starting up Arctic Spas back in 1989 (with his mom’s legal help) as he was just 17 years old- 33 years ago!
Due to demand from locals, we’ve always served the entire state, but due to growing popularity of our spas that are built for Utah’s unique climate, in 2021, we added a second Utah store in St. George.
We’re all about helping you find the right spa for your needs, so you can start making memories with those you care about most.
